At Raíces Psychotherapy Collective, we believe healing begins at the root
We want to help you explore the foundations of your stories—your identities, families, communities, and lived experiences—while also grounding our work in the latest evidences in the field.
Who we are
We are a collective of Latina psychotherapists who offer an inclusive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. We are LGBTQ+ allies and are committed to creating a safe and affirming therapeutic space. We are honored to accompany you on your journey of growth and change.

Accepting clients
Victoria’s particular areas of interest and experience are in anxiety, depression, trauma, and parent/adult child relationships. As a second-generation Latina, Victoria brings both personal and professional insight into how culture, family dynamics, and generational expectations shape our inner lives and mental health.

Your questions, answered
-
Yes, Johanna and Victoria offer in person appointments at their office located at 5720 Six Forks Rd, Suite 202, Raleigh, and virtual appointments for anyone living in North Carolina.
-
The first appointment is an initial assessment, where your therapist will take the time to get to know you and explore what brings you to therapy. They will review your history, current concerns and symptoms, while also explaining how therapy works, including reviewing confidentiality and practice policies. By the end of the appointment, you and your therapist will work together to identify initial goals and outline a plan for moving forward.
-
Getting started is simple! Reach out to a therapist via email or phone with your name, preferred contact method, and the best time to reach you.
From there, Victoria or Johanna will get back to you to schedule a brief phone call to learn more about your therapy goals, discuss scheduling needs, and answer any questions about working together.
-
Cost will depend on your insurance plan and your plan’s mental health benefits and coverage. Self-pay costs will vary depending on the clinician, please reach out to the provider that you would like to work with to learn more.
Johanna and Victoria offer limited sliding scale/reduced rate appointments. Please contact the provider you would like to work with for more information.
